HUGE TECH NERD
WATCHING THE BIRTH OF THE DIGITAL WORLD
I was born in 76 ( I know, I am an old dude), but could you stick with me on this? I have seen the world transform from an analog world with hints of digital to an almost completely digital world. I say almost because a large portion of the world is still catching up to the digital transformation of the developed world.
My mother was from Michigan, and my father was from Palestine. I was born in Kuwait and spent the first 15 years in Kuwait and Saudi Arabia. I have traveled the world and visited numerous cities and countries. I tell you this not to brag but to let you know that I see the world as a much larger place than most of us realize. Every time I learn something new about a different place on the globe, the more I understand how little I know.
I spent 20 years in the U.S. Navy as a Nuclear Machinist Mate on several submarines. I attained the rank of Chief Petty officer. There is a saying in the Navy: if you need an answer to something or want information, “Ask the Chief.” The Chiefs of the Navy are the storehouse of history and knowledge. Individual Chiefs know a lot, but the collective of the Chief’s Mess (the organization of Chiefs past, present, and future) is mind-blowing!! So, if you have questions, feel free to reach out
I am always looking for ways to learn about new things, and I have gravitated toward cutting-edge technology and its implications on our lives. I hope to share that with you through this blog, and we can help each other attain the freedom to live our lives the way we want to instead of the way we have to.
